Our Team

Ricochet was started in June 2002 by Anne Thielen. Originally a full-service marketing and design agency, Ricochet evolved to focus on what we do best – Production. We provide the tools for our clients to achieve their goals through experience and expertise at every level by utilizing people who are the best at what they do.

We ensure that everyone on the crew from the photographer, stylist, assistants, and production team are there for one reason: to deliver the best possible outcome for our clients.

  • Anne Thielen

Anne Thielen began her career in production as a grip on photoshoots for a boating manufacturer in high school. As the years progressed, she went from assisting on those shoots to running them. After some time in the ad agency world, she started doing her own thing. That was almost 20 years ago. She has 2 boys in traveling hockey and baseball, a husband who coaches those boys, happens to be the PTA president and loves a buttery chardonnay.

  • Steve Jones

Steve was working for a local photo studio when he got pulled into the production world orbit, and he’s been on the varsity team ever since. He has worked with Target, 3M, Best Buy, and many others. With a background in advertising, design, and project management, he’s happy to wear any hat that is tossed his way. He can be relied on for a steady stream of "dad jokes" and the (occasionally irritating) ability to match a classic song lyric to just about any mundane situation.

  • Chris Scott

Chris has had a lot of jobs from planning routes for an armored car service to photographing international bands for recording labels, but she knows there is always more to do. She has over 22 years of experience working in the photo industry as a photo and production assistant, and now Producer. She understands people and can offer creative solutions in the work environment. Always interested in getting to the fun, she can usually be found at the roller skating rink, cross country skiing or working on a community arts project.

  • J.J. Bitter

J.J. Bitter found her start working as a print & runway agent for a local model and talent agency and jumped into the still production world a few years later. She has worked as a freelance producer for the last 10 years on every kind of photo shoot from food to fashion, room sets to tabletop. JJ knows that the secret to a successful and fun production is organization, hard work, and assembling a fantastic crew! Some of her very favorite things include her family, long walks with her dog Baxter, a great playlist, and finding a good estate sale!
